So, it seems the property in N. Buncombe that I'd hoped a Publix would go there, appears to have been purchased by Bowes Properties, which seems to be the owner of Southern Growl in Greer. Now to wait and see what, if anything, will be done with that property.

I heard Southern Growl is going behind the gas station. They are moving their location there so they can open their own brewery since they are only a micro pub as of now.

I said the same thing to the BF and wondered if that's what they' were going to do. I think that would go well there but I would have rather had a Publix.

Publix would do well with a store in Greer. If it has been seeking a location along West Wade Hampton Boulevard, there are not many sites remaining.
