Looking to possibly purchase a Subaru Outback. I don't want to travel too far for warranty/service work, living in the Simpsonville area. So, between Fairway and Vic Bailey Subaru Dealers, which one in your experiences/opinions offers the best deals and service after purchase. Thanks.
We've bought a WRX and an Outback from Fairway. We've been pretty satisfied. If I ever have to take one in for service, they provide a loaner and are quite friendly. Their selection is usually better, too. Personally, I like to talk to Jan Doss. I don't have any experience with Vic Bailey, other than the fact that they immediately returned a very competitive online quote when we were looking. If you have any questions about the Outback, I'd be glad to offer any add'l info, as well. You'll love it. Good luck!
Fairway! Go on the Internet & look. Ask for Jane Bundrick. Tell her Pat Grissinger referred you! You will love her. She is a personal friend. I have referred several people to her & they love their cars.
I bought my WRX (still have it!) from Prestige up in Asheville. Absolutely love them and would use them all the time for service if they weren't so far away.
I used to take it to Fairway but when their old Service Manager left (Charles I think was his name) the quality of service dropped so I quite taking it to them.

Have they improved since then?
I've had my WRX in for service a couple times, and they've been good to me. I get the feeling that there is some pushback from SOA regarding repairs on a performance vehicle, but in the end, the problems were resolved to my satisfaction, but not always without a little frustration (happens anywhere). Daniel and Barry are very nice guys, and they always have Alex work on my car (master tech).
We bought our WRX at Vic Bailey because they had what we wanted. I have taken it to Fairway a few times for oil changes though because we live in Greenville. I stopped going only because we have not had any warranty issues and I have an indie shop closer to my office for non warranty stuff.
I would not hesitate to go to either stealership though if it were a warranty issue.
