Holistic Practitioners in the Greenville area?
Are there any holistic doctors, nurse practitioners, dentists or holistic healing type centers in the Greenville area? Will I be the only one in the school system who is against vaccinations? Anyone have problems registering a non vaccinated child for school? Just how open minded is Greenville?

I know of a holistic practitioner who is very highly rated among people in this area and even those who travel from other states to see her. Her name is Susan Stegall and her office is moving to a new location very soon because of the rapid growth in interest for natural medical care. Her office will be adding an M.D. as well in the near future. She also provides over-the-phone consultations with people around the globe.

Thank you Skyliner, finding the right care giver is very important to my move. I realize Ashville is more crunchie than Greenville but I balance out my crunchie side with my business side and for me, Ashville is too crunchie ..... but I do love visiting and would be thrilled to live close by there as I have friends in Ashville.

Has anyone been to Rosanne Diehl or even heard of her? She is supposed to be integrative medicine and more natural. Thanks

I'm new to Greenville area and had been told SC doesn't certify wholistic medical practices. SO I am thrilled to learn differently. Also I am thrilled to find this web site. I did find a Veterinarian that practices wholistic & traditional veterinary medicine. Dr. Jeanne Fowler, All About Pets, in Travelers Rest saved my dogs life from cancer using alternative medicine.

I'm pretty sure you can still be vaccinated at certain schools. I know someone who got vaccinated at school a few years ago.

I am a patient of Dr. Stegall's, and I can attest that she is great! She has successfully treated my health problems when no other physician could. It is my understanding that she gets referrals from all over, for a variety of problems (including cancer and AIDS).
Just to clarify, she is a conventionally trained physician and practices integrative medicine (the best of both conventional and alternative modalities). I think she has a radio show too, but I'm not sure which station carries it.
