Sad news about John Mastrokolias, 59, co-owner of The Coach House restaurant in Simpsonville on Main St. His pick-up ran off the road and hit a tree on Woodruff Rd last Monday night. (Sadly, he wasn't wearing his seatbelt according to reports).

While I didn't know John personally, he would always greet us at The Coach House. After my father-in-law passed away last year, John noticed that he wasn't with us and asked about him.

WOW, we know John very well. He was a great guy. Very sad news.
