Good diners or privately owned restaurants? (Greenville, Wade Hampton: 2013, places to eat, Wal-mart)

What are some good places to eat in Taylors, Greer or off Wade Hampton? Looking for mom and pop places, not chains. We ate at Southern Thyme's Cafe in downtown Greer and the food was great southern cooking.

I'm curious to hear about diner offerings as well. The only one I know of around here is Stax (besides Denny's, iHop, and Awful House)

One of the best restaurants in the upstate is on Wade-Hampton. It's not a diner, though. It's Vietnamese food.

Mythos Greek and Italian Restaurant on Wade Hampton in Greer (near Target). For mexican cuisine, try El Matador Restaurant on Wade Hampton in Taylors (near Wal-Mart).
