Is there hunting in Greenville or Spartanburg?
Greenville and Spartanburg Counties are very large. The northern part of the counties have seveal mountains. People do hunt and fish in these areas. Generally hunting is limited to private land.

Here's a site with different zones, seasons, and limits from SC's Dep. of Natural Resources:

Thumbs up Home in Inman

Hey jgonn10. We have just purchased our first home here in the upstate (we close Wed., April 30th) & it is located in Inman. We went through over 100 homes in our search, looked at quite a few neighborhoods around Greenville (east & NE of town), and the majority of our search centering around different areas of Spartanburg (north & west), before finally deciding on the home in Inman. It is a smaller subdivsion, 1 cul-de-sac street, 28 homes, 1/2 to 1 acre lots, subdivision is only 4 years old, homes all have all brick fronts, siding on other 3 sides, no garages allowed to face streets, street lights, matching mailboxes & posts, only in-ground pools permitted plus other HOA covs. that help to maintain the appearance & quality of the neighborhood. Approx. 8-10 min. from I-26 & approx. 15 min. from I-85. Great location, still close to shopping & dining, can be up in Hendersonville, NC & the mountains in approx. 30 minutes, same for time to Greenville. We've met 4 of our new neighbors so far just being at the house havings inspections & estimates done. Everyone seems so friendly & happy & they seem genuinely excited about us moving in. Sorry I can't tell you anything about the schools, 2 boys are in college & stayed in OH, & both girls are married & out on their own (NC & VA). We're transplants from Cincinnati, OH & have been here 20 months, wanted to get to know the different areas before buying & wanted to wait for our house up north to sell (that just took a mere year & a half!!!!). We're very pleased with our new home & the neighborhood. We purchased a 4BR/3BA, approx. 2800 sq.ft., with a little over 3/4's of an acre. Since our offer was accepted 2 other homes there are for sale, 1 by owner. If you would like any more detailed info on this neighborhood (name, price, etc.) please feel free to PM/DM?? me & I would be happy to forward this to you. What type of place are you looking for? Rent or buy? Any other questions we might be able to help with, please just post, this forum is a great research tool!!
Good Luck & Happy Hunting!!

b.t.w. - Can anyone tell me what, if any, difference there is between "PM = Private Message" & the newer "DM = Direct Message", is the PM just outdated now or what?? THANKS!!!!!
