No problem, I just wanted to make sure that you got the info you needed form the right forum. From what little I know about the area, the best feature is that it is really close to Charlotte.
It's fine, thanks for replying. My number one concern is work. I worked for State Farm many years and now independent agency. I have bachelors but I hear, see, high unemployment. I think small bus is holding back right now, which I won't go into further. I'm taking a computer course, always good to update skills. Any thoughts? These are tough times for young and middle age like myself.

For anyone still looking at this post: Many, including retired NC realtor stated Greenville and surrounding areas lower cost of living. Greer, Simponsivlle, Powderville, Anderson have all been some suggestions near Greenville.
