Cheapest gas, at the stations on Walmart properties, is 2.79, 2.89, and 2.99. Next tier is the other discounters (Raceway, etc.) starting at 2.82 for regular. Big name stations may have regular for about 2.87 to 2.95.

I've found gas cheaper in some outlying areas than in Greenville, by maybe 5 cents. The above prices are based on the cheapest outlying areas!

you can always check South Carolina Gas Prices - Find Cheap Gas Prices in South Carolina. Most areas of the country you can find the current local price through GasBuddy.com - Find Low Gas Prices in the USA and Canada

Default gas prices

We are looking forward to the gas prices down there. Up here in NW PA it's about $3.15 to $3.20. When we were house hunting in October, the prices were about .30 cheaper there, then up here. Maybe this will help y'all feel just a little bit better. We are leaving Erie, PA for Simpsonville, SC tomorrow!See ya soon....

Smile Thanks!

Thanks for the information. I'll definitely check out Gasbuddy.com from now on. I live in Michigan and gas is $3.22 right now.

Spartanburg probably has the best gas prices because we have a direct gas line. But all of the areas surrounding have good gas prices too.

From what ive seen if you have acostco membership you can buy gas there for a good 20-30 cents cheaper than the gas stations. I really like the spinx stations cause you can pay at the pump even with cash and never have to even go inside
