Is QuikTrip open? I could go for some gas station style hot dogs.
I did prepare and stocked up on cookies and candy. I ate it all before noon and fell asleep though.

Good luck to you folks in the south dealing with this mess. What a PIA!
I've never seen so much sleet in my life - sleeting since 3pm - prior to that had some of the heaviest snow I've witnessed in years - I think I have about 3 inches of snow + sleet - this has been a wild storm - I've heard of numerous reports of snow in AL/TN - we may just get some more snow overnight
A chef was shown on Channel 7 today giving a recipe for milk and bread - I didn't write it down, but it was something like toast the bread, heat the milk and put it on the bread, add butter & salt. Said it was very tasty.

NYC was fine as was CLT until about an hour before she touched down, then wasnt bad yet either. Flights not long after work and I saw. I took a friend with me who has driven in snow and guide me along the way but yes I did all the driving crazy as it sounds. Not sure about the brave, sure about the crazy.
Been getting hammered with non stop ice pellets in Greer for 4 hours and its still coming down hard at 9 pm.
