I figure that is.. Just luck of the draw with who you get that particular day with HTI, but...

be careful with HTI, they have miss-lead many people to get them into ZF

Thanks for the update.

Seems like things are slowing down in manufacturing, in general.

My son tried to apply last week, told him they werent hiring for ZF, wouldnt even let him fill out an application for ZF, which I dont think is right, or legal is it? (HTI that is)

Anyways, Ive applied multiple times to ZF, for different positions, and didnt even get a response, whereas I guy I work with has gotten several rejection emails from them. Ive heard from some of the truckers who pick up here and at ZF have had to wait sometimes upwards of 12 hours to be loaded, and that the companies they work for no longer service them. Ive also heard there were some problems there with the products they were putting out, but you know how rumors are, next thing you know CCF will be buying the building for a distribution center. (LOL) I finally just gave up on ever working there, its not my loss, its theirs is the way I look at it now.

There is no law against telling someone you're not hiring, when you are not hiring.

I thought there was something against the law about not letting someone fill out an application???? I do remember my old boss getting in trouble for not letting a guy fill out an app. but I dont recall the circumstances now. Well, I shouldnt say trouble, I think he just got a nasty email or letter or something from a certain group maybe.

Yes when I was doing hiring for a company about a decade ago, we would tell someone outright if we were not currently hiring, but they were still allowed to fill out an application, which we held for 60 days and then discarded.

The law is something like if you ARE taking applications, you CAN NOT refuse to allow someone to apply for employment, or the company could be subject to a discrimination hearing or something along those lines.

I actually talked with a guy who worked there over the weekend. He was relatively new there.. I think he said he was in the $15 range.. But, that after 30 days the pay increased and then again after 90 days.

Roommate has worked there since October, 2015. You get extra money if you work 3rd shift which he does. Says they desperately need people.
