Default Utility costs for 3/2 with two people

Hi Folks,

Just signed in to your forum. My wife and I are planning to move from an apartment to a house very soon. We are curious as to the average cost of utilities for a 3bdr/ 2 bth home with 1290sqft living space. Just the two of us mist of the time. If anybody out there has info for us we would greatly appreciate it.

Have a great day.

Lars

P.S. We are planning to move to Simpsonville, SC from Greenville, SC

Way to support the state you live in. Maybe you should move back to your "home state."

Of course I'm serious! How do you think these things come about? The people and politicians reflect the mindset and culture.

The liberal, entitlement mentality and policies over the years has put NJ (And my home state of CT) in the position it's in.
Right on JViello. You can also add most of the mid-west to that same pickle.

Smile Taxes

I moved to Murrells Inlet, SC from Austin, Texas a little over a year ago. I owned a 300K house in Austin and paid 8K in property taxes alone! Ouch! I just built a 300K house here and, although it isn't quite as big, it is in a great neighborhood, Creekhaven, in Prince Creek West. My property taxes here are less than one thousand dollars. I'm still ahead with the car taxes. I'm feeling great about living and eating here! I'll bet it will be better for you too in the long run. Brick

Default Property

Also, there hasn't been a better time to purchase something. There are more properties on the market than anytime in history. If credit is a problem, find an owner finance deal. I sold a home to a young family and did an owner finance which helped them and me. Stay positive and you'll find the answer for you! Brick

Please be sure to start a new post when your current state catches up to you and tell us all about it. It will take some time, but it will happen and I'm sure you'll be complaining once again.

take a look at your entire tax picture and cost of living in sc and you will find that its cheap to live here. yes the car tax is a little high. but if you will take you car and have it apraised. you can get the taxes adjusted. been here 10 years and you have to learn some tricks.i live in the county not the city. utilities can be high in the city.

wow you folks get uptight way to quick. First of all i didnt buy my car here, so why do i need to pay a tax when i already paid a state tax. Second im not concerned about "getting Caught" i have a home in my "home state" i rent a home here. when i moved here i called to see how much the tax would be and i was told roughly a grand a year. Now i guess all of you must be wealthy and can just fork out that kind of money with no issues, However im not that wealthy. When i buy a new car here i will pay the tax here, Lighten up people damn
