When Radio Shack closed next to Sears on upper level I thought that was a good opportunity for Sears to give up some more space next to the Radio Shack store for H&M or another retailer. The mall could have relocated Spencer's as well giving H&M a good front door from the mall into some of the Sears space. (same way they did on lower level with Forever 21) Didn't happen and missed opportunity. The Radio Shack space was leased to AT&T.
Is H&M coming to Greenville anytime in the near future.
No. It'll take some time to lure them here. They did however open some kiosks and carts with the Dead Sea or prediere thing. You know, the ones that grab your arm and chase you down the mall to give you lotions for extreme prices.
For now, you just have Forever 21, Holic, altered state, ny & company, no h&m
Maybe after cheesecake comes in or gap leaves. Hmmmm
I'm sorry the Radioshack closed, but they have apparently closed most of their indoor mall locations. They still have stores in Cherrydale, Taylors, and Greer. And they are now cobranded with Sprint.
I would like to see the playground in the mall get rid of. I know it is a place for parent to take their kids but this is a mall not a playground and it is an eyesore.
It would be nice to get more variety if a store closes there are to many shoe and sport stores something fresh and new would be great.
I do like the new elevators near the Sears it is nice to get downstairs directly from the food court
I agree! I hate the playground! I wish Haywood Mall would do some real updating. It's become very tired looking.
in addition to all that has been said...basically HALF of the upper level parking between Macy's and Penneys has been fenced off now....A building is being erected as we speak.

Would this be Cheesecake Factory locating in a freestanding building adjacent to the mall entrance between J.C. Penney and Macy's?

Why hate the playground? I think it's a great place to take little children with pent up energy to instead of letting them run around Victoria's Secret.
