Lowes Foods purchasing 3 Bi-Lo stores, one on Pelham @85 will become Lowes Foods, other 2 to become IGA stores.

OK still haven't seen the designated numbered spaces for it in many of their parking lots like Target and Walmart have been installing at their stores last two years. I know the Publix I frequent just started curbside four months ago.

I personally don't use any of them. I like browsing in store, seeing new items and doing my own shopping.

I heard that 4 stores were purchased in the upstate; 3 for IGA and 1 for Lowes Foods.

Alex Lee acquiring 20 Bi-Lo stores, plans to convert 5 to Lowes Foods, 15 to KJ's Market. Pelham rd will become Lowes Foods, will also bring Lowes Foods Charleston area county to 4 stores, as well as give KJ's over 30 locations I believe, making them a significant player.

I really wish Ingles would do something regarding store pickup. Their stores are pretty easy to get into and out of but there are times it would be nice to have a pickup option.
