The station has been the flagship for Clemson University Tigers athletics and has been a local sports format. I wonder if everything will remain the same as the station increases its signal to reach more listeners.

I just hope they get the signal working better. We hardly get it in Abbeville County now. It once came in loud and clear. Now, it is very difficult to pick it up here.

Before the change, I could get it pretty well around Lyman. It's much worse now, and only starts coming in around the western side of Greer. I was expecting a better signal with the wattage boost.

From what I hear they are still making adjustments to the wattage. That being said, when thay changed frequency, it also meant that the direction of the signal would be effected. I think that the majority of the increased range will go toward GA and Western NC.

I keep seeing on twitter from the jocks that they are currently at only 50% power. Still have to get cleared to go up to 100%.

I am getting a good signal on 105.5 at my location off Butler Rd. near Mauldin. All you need is a good set of rabbit ears connected to a radio with an external antenna coax connection. Many of these newer radios that do not have an external antenna connection have poor reception. The antenna connection looks like a cable TV input connector on the back of a TV. And basic rabbit ears work best unless you connect to an outdoor antenna. I also can receive Charlotte with rabbit ears. But I guess in the digital age of cable TV and internet streaming, people are forgetting about basic rabbit ears.
