The BPS site is "build it and they will come". In a few years, no one will know this was an industrial area other than the BMW property. Certainly glad they didn't choose to build it near Pelham. What a nightmare that would have been.

Too bad about the flea market possibly going away...that place is packed on weekends...but is prime space.

How do you know they don't have a contractor selected yet? Do you work for BPS corporate?

Thankfully. They seem to be annexing everything else in sight!

Growth along Highway 101 South will have City of Greer, Town of Reidville and Spartanburg County wanting in on the action.

I wonder how long that will take for the growth to start on 101.

I don't but have been in contact with them as recent as a few weeks ago. I work for a company that would be interested in having some involvement with certain aspects of the site development.

It has already started. Bojangles is new as well as QT (since the BPS announcement).

Once BPS comes, more development will follow.

Drove by that area on Monday on way back from S'burg. That's a big chunk of open land. Perfect spot for development for sure. I imagine once BPS is in that whole area will explode.

Reminds me a little of the IKEA area in Charlotte. When I first went there a number of years ago it was just IKEA. Then went back last year and it has exploded in other retail/restaurants.

Thanks for clearing that up. What other businesses shadow Bass Pro Shop?

According to articles written around the initial BPS announcement, we will see more restaurants, hotels and shopping near BPS. There are still a couple of very good out parcels off Hwy 101 still available. Spinx announced they will build a new store between their old location and Bojangles.
