Have any of you taken the time to check out the Nippon Center (500 Congaree) property? I'd forgotten how big it was, as well as how nicely it is situated. I refreshed my mind by driving through the site today. Hey... the gate was open...LOL Someone is going to make a really nice lick, somewhere down the line.

The address is a 10.6 acre offering, but if you look around, there is an additional 15-20 acres that directly connects to it, that would make it one heck of a nice commercial development. The original structures are shot, due to neglect and vandalism and will require demolition. A lot of Atl Fan's suggestions really could fit into the space I saw today.

Just by random chance, I noticed the property being shown, while we were on the site. It quite obviously hasn't been forgotten. Anyone have any idea as to what is being asked for that piece or the adjacent properties?

Does anyone know the acreage and square footage of Nippon Center and Yagoto?

Ten acres is enough to do something. If that additional 15 to 20 acres and the Henry Schenn site can be acquired for something bigger, it would make one grand development.

I would like Sagebrush Steakhouse to open in Greenville. Why not locate in the former Fatz on Congaree Road and Halton Road?

Carolina...
Ya got my vote. I like Sage Brush and that location seems to be a good fit. Rafferty's regular crowd is loyal enough to keep them happy and healthy.

The Henry Schenn site would be gravy, but the real filet Mignon is the "abandoned" property located behind the Nippon complex, on Gladys Dr. Google's Street View comes in handy sometimes.

Sagebrush has a good menu. Having one location in South Carolina solely in Gaffney is not enough. I like to see them open in Greer and give Texas Roadhouse competition.

I think Harris Teeter would do well at 401 Roper Mountain Road. Despite its accessibility issues, store 260 did well at that location.

Folks, you need to not respond to anything from ATL fan. Trolling, and wasting our time.

It would be great to see Harris Teeter return to the Upstate area. But I suppose it depends upon what plans Kroger may have.
