We are relocating to Simpsonville - Kilgore Farms- in the summer. We need to find a preschool for our soon to be 3 year old starting this fall. Any recommendations? Don't want to travel more than a few miles. Thanks!

I have several friends who like Immanuel Lutheran School at Five Forks. That would be very close for you. We, personally, like Disciples Methodist at the corner of Blacks and Roper Mtn. but that is probably further than you'd like to travel. I know many people really love Simpsonville Methodist in downtown Simpsonville. It was a little too large for us. There's also Five Oaks Montessori school, which would be very close.

I looked at Immanual Lutheran and Abiding Peace Lutheran which would be within miles of where you would want. They were both good, I think you have to go visit and get a feel. We ended up choosing United Methodist in Simpsonville. Again, it was more so the feel I got when I toured. All were nice, all were different sizes. I believe you won't go wrong with any of these. Good luck!

Classy Kids on Suber Road/Brushy Creek Road. My 3 year old is there and we LOVE it. They potty trained him in the first 3 days when he moved up to the K3 room. My 6 year old went there the first 5 years and he was way ahead when he started Kindergarten. Local owners and they are pregnant and will have their child at their location as well! They have multiple locations but that one is my favorite! Classy Kids

No offense to GreenvilleCityGirl, but we despise Classy Kids. If you're poor or don't want to spend a lot of money on your child, pick Classy Kids. They're anything but Classy and you get what you pay for. We highly recommend Park Place Children's Center though. Our 3 yr old has been going there for over a year and it's phenomenally better than the Classy Kids we went to on Georgia rd. It's around $1k a month but it's really worth it. It's on Batesville Rd which is probably a 5 minute drive for you. It's also more government regulated unlike most of the religious daycares.

Ummm...no offense? We are not poor and we pay almost $1000 a month like you. I'm pretty sure you offended every parent that chose Classy Kids as their daycare.

My ODD has attend preschool at Simpsonville United Methodist this school year. We've been pleased! Great staff and director. The kids have a fun, developmentally/age appropriate time at school.

From Kilgore Farms to SUMC, hmmm, probably a good 5-7 miles? Not exactly sure. You'll be a bit remote from a number of things that far out on Woodruff Rd. GL deciding!

Both of my children attended Immanuel Lutheran School and it was wonderful! If you do plan on using a preschool this Fall, I recommend that you call quickly wherever you decide to schedule a tour and find out what slots are available. I know a lot of preschools begin registration in January and February for the next academic year and they fill up fast.

I said no offense, so you can't get too angry. It's just the difference between Pop Tarts vs home made pancakes, dirty playgrounds & chain link fences vs rubber matting & privacy fences. Personally i love Pop Tarts, but some people are a little more particular when it comes to the care of their children.

No offense...but I think you are an idiot. Bahahahaha! I'm really just kidding but as you can see you use "No offense" right before or after you offend someone.
