All of the local Clock and Pete's places have good food. So I definitely do support the locally owned establishments.

I would like to see Shoney's return to Greenville. If they continue to close locations left and right and make poor decisions by dedicating the all day buffet to breakfast foods only, they will be no more. They need to think new strategies and be aggressive opening new and additional locations.

They need to join the Big Boy franchise again. That was a part of their marketing strategy and brand identity. And the name of their signature sandwich.

In order for them to rebound, they will have to survive the way Golden Corral and Ryan's operate as steaks and buffets.

Outback and Longhorn are completely different from Ryan's, Golden Corral, etc.

Western Sizzlin has a great opportunity to grow as a chain focused on the southeastern United States, similar to Ryan's earlier days.

Would love to see Quincy's and Western Sizzlin make a comeback, as well as Ponderosa and Bonanza.
