I always thought the Powdersville exit off I-85 would be a great location for a nice outlet mall.

Do Powdersville and Greer need an outlet mall? Though I could say yes, both areas are growing well enough where they should not need one.

I would like to see Clinton (Laurens County) get an outlet mall.

Currently the nearest outlet malls to Greenville are in Gaffney, SC and Commerce, Ga. But it would indeed be nice to have an outlet center just a bit closer. And there is a mega mall outlet center, Concord Mills, just up the road near Charlotte. And a similar Discover Mills down in Georgia. And Tanger is building a new outlet center with Simon just off the 485 Charlotte beltway which opens this summer.

Anywhere along the I-85 corridor between I-185 in Greenville and Clemson Blvd. in Anderson would work, I think. There is so much untapped potential along there.
