Now, does someone at Flour make more than me? I'm sure. There may be some instances, but in general is what I'm speaking. I also know a few other ocupations where its the same as above (lower in Greenville) but, Greenville's cost of living is quite a bit lower, as I stated in my earlier post.

It's not sour grapes, I like Greenville, a lot actually.

PS- Oviedo is actually half tjhe size of Greenville, so tough to compare anyway.
If you look at things differently it's not even half the size as Greenville. Our city limits are a great deal smaller than the true urban area. We can't annex so more live outside of the city limits. Urban area is a better representation of size. Not to be confused with metro area, that's something different. The Greenville urban area is 400k+. So it really isn't a good comparison. Oviedo is a suburb of Orlando.

I looked a little more. Oviedo doesn't have its own urban area, it is included in the Sanford urban area which seats the county. Oviedo is more than not a huge neighborhood, sort of like Taylors or Five Forks here. Just bigger. The bottom line is they all depend on another principal city other than themselves. I've actually been to Sanford. You're dealing with different dynamics all together. Greenville is the center of things in its area, so it has more of a mixture of background, incomes, etc.

Maybe, but it's still the county seat of the county in which you sit. It's important in that county.

True, but when compared to other towns in Seminole County (Oviedo/Lake Mary/Winter Springs --- all in top 10 lists in the past), its the butt of Seminole Co jokes lol. Worst crime, the schools, etc. Some parts are nice (closer you get to the Lake Mary area), but some parts are scary/ghetto/bad.

Sounds like it's diversified. Every city of some size has crime.

We build in Winter Garden. Its cool. I like Oviedo and Lake Mary more. We also build in places like Windermere, which is a very upscale community; very nice also. Lots of big lakes.
