With the addition of ParkSterling, how many banks use Greenville as regional headquarters?

It is a stretch to call this a bank headquarters. In reality it is a regional office taking only about 15k feet. It is still good but the title is very misleading. A true bank HQ would be like the state's two largest SC based banks, First Citizens or SCBT in Columbia.

I think we all know what a bank HQ is. Greenville was home to the state's largest bank prior to South Financial's acquisition by TD. But hopefully we will see PS grow and expand here in Greenville.

South financial.....what a mess. Certus is headed down the same path, their tier 1 ratio is becoming alarmingly low. PS will grow but the majority of expansion will be felt elsewhere. Keep it in perspective, it is good for the city, just not as much as the thread title implies.
