Nice addition to Spartanburg. I tried the Pelham rd location today. Great quality. Good price
I think the Golden Chick has a good product. But they have strong competition from KFC, Bojangle's, and now Popeyes. But I wish them good luck as they are more established in their home markets in Texas.

Agreed. The place was practically deserted at 1pm on a Saturday. I was impressed with the product. Plus they have Cheerwine as a fountain option!
I've been to the Golden Chick in Easley a couple of times and its been eerily dead.I hope they do well, but the stench of death was all over the place.

This has happened so many times with Abbotts. There were 2 in Miami many years ago, both closing, and that was when there were no other frozen custard places to be found.
Abbotts is a great product, and it's my favorite frozen custard. I spent many summers at my grandparents cottage in the Rochester area and my grandmother was friends with the owners of Abbotts, so I truly have a love for Abbotts.
There's still one in Greer. Wonder how they are doing?
