Default 1100 Asheville Highway, Spartanburg, SC 29303-2158

Does anyone know what is going in the former Big Daddy's on Asheville Highway in Spartanburg?

The Inman location remains opens and has healthy jumbo double cheeseburgers and large cheese fries.

No, I do not know what could occupy the former Jack in the Box. It has been vacant four years. It will need to undergo some repairs because of lack of maintenance.

It looks like something is going in there. There is a sign there now on the building, and it's been repainted. The sign says "Deno's Subs and Seafood". Strange combination!

Thanks for the info! I passed by again this morning and still didn't notice a sign other than the contractor information

Burger King closed recently.

Former Burger King locations in the Greenville area have been renovated and replaced by Zaxby's. They are rumored to be looking in Inman for a location.

Wow - I used to work in Spartanburg and ate lunch at Billy D's a few times - very good food. Very popular and packed with lunch patrons. Great service.
To clarify, I ate there prior to Stax's acquisition of Billy D's.

I was hoping to try Billy D's on my next trip to Spartanburg.

Stax restaurants are usually good. I wonder if the Stathakis family will open a restaurant in another Spartanburg location.
