I just tried Deno's a few days ago. Mediocre to say the best. Fries tasted frozen, but the chicken fingers were alright. This is like generic mall food in my opinion.

Wasabi has some of the best shushi I have ever tasted anywhere, and the Chef/Owner Katsu is top notch and even travels back to Japan to source ingredients for his business.

Now aside from mediocre chains like City Range, there was Gerhards which wasn't bad when I used to live there. But honestly, aside from a few dinners out at Mexican places, the Beacon, and other greasy spoons (which Spartanburg does well at), we always went to Greenville for a better dining experience.

Default Subway #1700, 2634 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316-6002

Subway is now installing touch screen menus in their drive throughs. Spartanburg Herald-Journal mentioned Subway #1700, 2634 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316-6002 being the first in the upstate to have it.

When you pull up to the menu, you touch the screen. Where you touch the menu, it moves up or down to the height of your vehicle.

This would seem to be destined for success, given that the Longhorn is always very busy with long wait times.

For several years, I was not keen on Texas Roadhouse in Taylors as it was constantly busy. Rediscovering it, I will definitely go somewhere to get great food in good portions at a good price. Service is also good.

That Texas Roadhouse is probably going where Buffalo's and Kick Back Cove used to be.

Texas Roadhouse is going to be new construction east of the site you mentioned at the intersection of W.O. Ezell Boulevard and Powell Mill Road. It will be an outparcel at the southeast corner of the intersection.
