I would not worry about Safeway expanding anytime soon. The chain peaked out and has been divesting or closing stores. It will be interesting to see how their acquisition by Albertson's proceeds.

Harris Teeter returning to Greenville would be interesting. Publix is working its way into eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina. Kroger is looking for a way to quickly catch up.

Many great ideas for retail concepts to be dispersed throughout the greater Greenville, Upstate area. But too much for one small town itself. But yes I want a Roy Rogers, Big Boy, and a Popeyes. And White Castle would be good, but we already have Krystal.
