Publix or Harris Teeter would likely locate in Landrum before Lowe's Foods does. Ingle's Markets #205 is constantly busy that Bi-Lo #5085 and #5620 and Food Lion #510 in Landrum and Columbus, North Carolina are not doing enough business.
Cracker Barrel would do very well in Landrum. Dining options are limited.
A void of a western apparel and accessories store exists in Landrum and Polk County, North Carolina, especially with the equestrian activity in the area. A store like Tractor Supply Company could be successful.

The Rally's burger chain is the same as Checkers, which has closed their stores in this area. So they are unlikely to return. But I would still like to see a Popeyes Chicken and I also like Skyline Chili.

I would rule out Famous Footwear. Publix, Cracker Barrel and QuikTrip are a start.
