I am sorry to hear that Charlie's Steak House is closing. It was a traditional, old school style steak house with very good food and service. A no frills establishment that never tried to be trendy, just serve good food. And they have been there for years, holding on when downtown declined and before all the new trendy restaurants have opened. Great homemade bleu cheese salad dressing. So sorry to see them go. I wonder what they will put in its place?

CA Pizza kitchen would be good or Charleston Crab Sack would be good when Charlie's steak house closes down or Daves Pizza needs to be something Greenville does not have

Default Charlie's Steak House, 18 East Coffee Street, Greenville, South Carolina 29601-2705

Third-generation owner Kay Efstration sold Charlie's Steak House. Whoever the new owner is could maintain the traditional steak house format with a contemporary modern twist.
