The Cliffs vs The Reserve at Lake Keowee. What do locals think is better and why.
Looking for waterfront and golf.
Both seem to offer amenities. Looking to buy in place that offers the best views and best golf.
I understand The Cliffs has more golf courses although I don't see myself travelling an hour to play
Which courses are better.
Which will have better appreciation on property
I expect to live there full time eventually
I'm 68

My wife and I are also looking at LK, Reserve or KK. Can anyone tell us what the winters are truly like? We currently live in a warm weather climate and I’ve researched average temps and snowfall, just looking for a “local” opinion. Thanks

Last winter and this winter we did not get a single inch of snowfall. Ice is not an issue here and the roads are rarely (if ever) salted. The lowest it got here this winter was 11 F. Last winter the lowest it got was 6 F. Usually one or two cold spells every winter other than that the winters here are mild and you can expect highs in the 50s most winter days with lows in the 20-30s. Trees will start leafing out in April.

Four seasons here. Our REAL winter is really 7 or 8 weeks.

I'd probably live closer to 123. If you live in these neighborhoods, you'll probably have a 20 to 30 mile roundtrip to grocery stores and other stuff on 123.
