Where do you watch, the flight of the Hot Air Balloons? Where do you recommend a good viewing spot, other than Heritage Park? Thanks.

In past years we've parked along Main St in Simpsonville. There were a lot of people parked just south of the Ice Cream Station area behind the RR tracks last year.

Default Aloft 2015

Does anyone know if Aloft will be returning to Simpsonville next year?

WYFF-TV reported that vendors have not been paid.

Haven't been to Aloft since 2007. Wouldn't miss it at all. When the festival was at Donaldson, it was awesome. Now it's just an overpriced piece of junk.

A common reason why I do not attend many festivals is higher prices for less interesting features and no enjoyment. You will not make money if you overprice carnival food and actual food, not so fun rides and lack popular musicians.

Blues Traveler and Spin Doctors were featured musicians this year.

This was the only reason we went. $16 for Blues Traveler was a great deal, and I've never seen them in a venue with so few people.

Outside of that there was nothing else there worth paying for.

I wonder if other festivals across the upstate counties have similar issues.

If Aloft 2015 is a reality, the concert lineup needs vast improvement. America, Chicago, Doobie Brothers, Kiss, Steely Dan and others would bring in crowd.

Those bands would also bring in vendors!

Like geriatric and hospice services.
