We've been going to Fisher's Orchards in Greer; great peaches and nice produce as well. A friend told me that the State Farmer's Market is best on Sat. Morning, so we tried that this morning. The prices were much better than downtown, and the selection was okay, although still not the bounty I took for granted in Raleigh.

We went to the Travelers Rest Farmer's Market yesterday morning- loved it! There was a nice selection, not too crowded, and prices were decent. We also made a short trip to Beechwood Farms from there http://www.mybeechwoodfarms.com; if you haven't been there it's worth the trip! The prices were better than the Farmer's Market, and everything is fresh, of course, since it comes from right there. It's only a few minutes north on 276., then right on Bates Bridge Rd.
