You should be able to watch Redemption church from anywhere near Haywood road or the downtown airport area. Just pull into the mall parking lot and watch from there. They are saying it will be large and high in the sky.

Well, I had no problem getting out of downtown tonight. Parked at the G-Drive ballpark, walked to county square, watched the fireworks, walked back to where I parked, and got out of downtown just as fast as on a normal day. I took Anderson Road to White Horse Road to I-85.

Traffic was a mess at the Redemption fireworks show. Every parking lot and road packed, people stopping in the middle of the road (really the median), took about 30 minutes to get home to overbrook.

Thank you, Beckycat, for posting about the Redemption Fireworks. Had a great view from the mall. Getting home was a bit hairy; took us 16 minutes instead of 6, but it was worth it!

Maybe we'll try downtown next year, and park where g-man430 parked.

We parked in County Square last night. It took us 20 mins. to get out of the parking lot and another 20 mins. to get back to Mauldin. We've gone here quite a few years and have never sat in traffic there longer than we did last night. FWIW we felt the police force could have done a better job directing traffic out of County Square last night! If I cut you off, I'm sorry! lol

I thought I read that is where they are shooting them off this year? Where else could you park for a good view?
