Can anyone give a testimonial on this place? Grandsons are in town and they want to catch fish. Little guys, 9 and 7. Any reviews on this place or other places for kids to fish around the area? Don't care if it is a pay facility or free. Just want them to have a chance to catch fish. Thanks.

Default Laurel and Hardy Fishing Lakes, 111 Lake Road, Marietta, SC 29661-9049

Laurel and Hardy Fishing Lakes: Facebook

It has been years since I have been here at a younger age. It is not too fancy, but it is well maintained and kept up nicely to be family focused.

We saw it on America's Best Baker, or whatever that show was with Francine, the local gal from Pickens was on. Saw the sign while in the Easley area and recognized it, so went to look. LOTS of people fishing. Seems it's very popular. There's a little store with fishing supplies, and my gosh, flavorings like I've never seen before. Can't remember pricing, and no idea how early you need to get there, so I would definitely call ahead for details.

Look at the list of parks in the area, you can fish at many of them, I believe.
