Need info on Greenville, sc want to move

I've lived in both, NC (very close to Greenville) and born in FL. Greenville seounds like a good spot based on what you've stated.

I am also looking to relocate from MO (originally from upstate NY). I visited Greenville last August and enjoyed the week I was there. The Reedy River walk was very nice. I am looking to move to SC and was wondering what the work situation is like? My husband works in commercial construction and I can transfer my job anywhere. Thanks for your input. I'm looking at a move very soon and also would like info on nice but affordable neighborhoods outside of the city of Greenville.

Have you narrowed down any cities outside of Greenville or are you just beginning your search? Of course, employment might narrow that search down a bit.

What is your definition of "affordable"? For some that might mean a house in the 100k-150k range, for others they might mean 250-300k - would be helpful to have some idea of a price range.

What are you looking for in a neighborhood? Large lots, small lots, HOA with amenities like a pool, out in the country with no HOA, new house, older home, etc, etc.?
