It is a fact that every home will sell; the secret is having the right price. If you don't want a rock-bottom price it is important to do the things that are mentioned here. Sometimes an agent has to be brutal (but in a nice way, LOL!) in telling a seller what needs to be done re: decluttering and de-personalizing.

Is there a way to add photos to this thread?? I wanted to share a new picture of the front room and see if you all think I am going in the right direction.

Upload them to an image hosting site like imgur.com and then enter the picture URL with the little yellow button that says Insert Image.

Okay here are some photos of just the front room I re did this morning. Tell me what you think. Should I add anything back to the room or should I remove anything in there? The first photo is of how it was before hand and what is posted on MLS. The other two are new ones I took today (not what is going on MLS) but the Realtor will be here next weekend to take the new ones for MLS but this is how I plan it to look. Thanks so much.

The new pictures are brighter and more appealing. The angle gives you a different perspective on the room and makes it "feel" a little deeper, a little larger. I'd say you're on the right track. Do you have any of the front where you said you had made changes?

Also when I have the realtor update the photos should I have her also include photos of the entrance to the neighborhood? The pool area? How about maybe the floor plan photos for my home (which I do have)?

The more photos the better (if the entrance to the neighborhood and pool are attractive). The floorplan would be very helpful.
