It has worked elsewhere in Spartanburg at 275 South Church Street, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29306-3417, as the Schuyler Building became Church Street Lofts.

I cannot get too excited about it. I don't get the impression that the Schuyler Building, just "down the road" a bit, is turning out to be all it was supposed to be. I would be curious about the occupancy rates for it before getting too pumped up about the Montgomery Building, which should've been demolished a LONG time ago, except for the conservationists and local politics got in the way.

In other words...there is a sudden love affair with "apartments/condos with mixed use space" in Spartanburg. What is the reality of those apartments actually being rented out?

You need to go visit the Schuyler building, it is incredible what they have done. The occupancy rate at the Schuyler building is at 100% with a waiting list. The whole downtown area has an occupancy rate at 100%. There is a huge demand for more apartments downtown.

It appears 72, not 91, upscale apartments will utilize the third through tenth levels. Offices would be on the second level. Restaurants and retail would be on the ground level.
