Does anyone know the background behind the church changes in Simpsonville?
.
"The Well" on Main Street is now called "Summit Church"

"City Church" on S Holland St is now called "Kingdom of Life".

Are these just sign changes, or changes in organizations?

The Well Community Church, located at 713 Northeast Main Street, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29681-2026, is now Summit Church's Simpsonville campus. Summit Church has three other campuses:
  • Mauldin: 48 Brookfield Oaks Drive, Greenville, South Carolina 29607-5746
  • Cherrydale: 1301 Rutherford Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29609-3101
  • Spartanburg: 200 East Saint John Street, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29306-5124

City Church is presently meeting at Mount Zion Christian Fellowship, located at 725 Garlington Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29615-5438.

Kingdom Life Christian Center has been around. it was located at 200 East Butler Road, Mauldin, South Carolina 29662-2106. The congregation has increased, and likely relocated to a larger facility. Its Facebook page shows its current location as 416 Holland Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29681-5919.

Thank you. I noticed that the sign changed on City Church but I didn't know if they had merged with Kingdom Life? I noticed on Kingdom Life's Facebook page that they had a joint service with the City Church congregation, but I didn't know what happened to City Church.

Has anyone been to any of these churches? What are their services like?

City Church merged with Mt Zion Christian Fellowship, and are now meeting at the MZCF building.

So I imagine the former City Church building is being leased to another congregation, or possibly being sold.
