we had 61 in New Hampshire today. The snow is melting fast. We had -5 degrees last week or so.
We'll be down for vacation next week, sure hope the weather lasts until then - perfect for golfing!!

Gotta love global warming, we used to have seasons, well somewhat, at least more than we do now.

I haven't even bothered packing up our summer clothes. I wore capris the week before Christmas, it seemed so strange and wrong, but it was 82 degrees!

In NJ, we've had some pretty warm early starts for winter as well the last few yrs. Last few yrs I had my bearded iris's blooming 1 week before christmas. Was very wierd and not normal for NJ at all. But, Jan/Feb/Mar more than made up for it by being obnoxiously cold!

Default You know you're in the South when...

You get to brag to friends and family back North that you did your Christmas shopping in capris and a tank top while running the ac instead of having to use your defrost while wearing a hat, boots, and gloves during white out conditions!

...when you get posts with racist comments on your message board...sorry, couldn't resist...

on a lighter note:
...when you order tea and get slightly warm, very sweet, freshly brewes ice tea, laced with a "here ya go, hon".

---when you have a choice of fatback, bacon, sausage or ham for your breakfast.
