Hi everyone, does anyone know what happened to HD radio station 93.7, channel 2 here in the Greenville area? It was my "go to" setting in my truck but I have been only getting static for the last few days. Didn't know if it's just my problem or not. Thanks!

Has 93.7-2, WFBC-FM HD 2, been playing top 40/pop recently?

I would call it 80's 90's and 2000's pop mix. Nice variety, upbeat stuff

In regards to the static, is it in specific areas where the station's signal is out of range, or is it total static on two or more high definition radios?

The HD Radio signal will sometimes drop out in the car, depending upon location. It will revert back to the analog signal. Some stations have stronger HD signals than others. More stable HD Radio reception is achieved with a home radio connected to rabbit ears or an attic or outside antenna. But unfortunately home HD Radio receivers are hard to find these days, unlike the car radios. At my home near Mauldin, I am able to receive all GSP HD signals with rabbit ears, as well as several HD Charlotte stations. 95.1, 96.1, 99.3, 101.9, 102.9, and 107.9 are able to be received. Although in some areas there is now a local low power interference issue with 107.9, but not at my location. As for B-93.7, there currently appears to be a technical problem with their HD2 channel, as there is nothing but static. However the HD1 and HD3 channels are functioning.

The B-93.7 HD2 channel appears to be functioning again today. But their audio processing needs to be improved.
