Hi I just got a job in consultancy with a vendor for around 100k per annum & I am on H1.
So considering the Taxes around in greenville and SC area , how much i can expected per month to my hand.

I am coming from Clevland , Ohio and single guy. So looking for some fun places with young crowd. Any help would be highly helpful , if this salary would be decent enough for savings at this area or not and what kind of life style can be expected at this place.

Thanks !!!

Congratulations! I can't tell you what your take-home pay will be but I can tell you that you should be able to do very well in this area on that salary. There is no reason you should not be able to save.

You should be just fine. What type of fun things are you looking for? Near Downtown is vibrant & has more than enough to eat & outdoor music, etc. For hiking, Rafting & such you may look toward Travelers Rest.

Just to give you some idea, my husband and I were able to "make it" just fine on less than $35k. Now we did not have a lavish lifestyle, but we made enough to get by and put a little bit aside. So $100K for a single will go a long way. You should be able to get a nice place and have more than enough for entertainment plus savings. I know they have been developing some nice housing including some upscale lofts towards the downtown area. Not sure where you will be working, but I would say that is where you would find the best scene for young professionals. Main Street has a lot to offer, with a decent nightlife. Good luck with your move!
