Default Within 5-10 miles of Downtown

We have chosen Greenville as the town we would like to re-locate to, in the next 2-3 years. We would like to purchase now, and have been to the Carillion development which is awesome, and we had actually picked a model and talked to the builder, when they informed us that they are now requiring the buyer to take out the construction loan. Needless to say, we had to walk, as we were not willing to take the risk of a builder not being able to finish a home, and then we're stuck with 1/2 built home and a construction loan.

Anyone else finding this? Are there other developments within that 10 mile radius of downtown Greenville that might be appealing to us? I really loved the model and development and was so disappointed ...

Try Acadia which is a new community in Anderson county. Exit 40 on I-85 then turn left at the ramp towards the southern connector.
Good Luck
