Allergies keep us from opening the windows in the house. We do spend a lot of time on the screened in porch and outside in general but when I go inside, I want relief. Of course right now I am sitting in my office with my eyes tearing and itching so the inside relief isn't working out so well.

More in the fall than in the Spring, but usually just a couple weeks in the Spring. By the time the pollen starts to clear, the daytime and nighttime temps are too high for our comfort. (80 daytime, 70 nighttime). Once Fall hits, we love to open them back up, though!

I have a sunroom with windows on three sides. It's delightful to have the windows open, feel the breeze and listen to the birds, but sadly there aren't that many days when I can do it. It's either too hot, too cold or pollen season (or so it seems).

Windows are open here at least 6 or more months per year. Love the low utility bills.

Very rarely due to allergies. Some of the screens have holes in them so I don't open those. The cat climbed our patio door screen and shredded it and we haven't fixed it yet!
