Spinx is rebuilding and upgrading stores in a more upscale style similar to QT. Right now their Augusta Rd. store is being rebuilt. And supposedly QT moved into SC after Spinx crossed the border into Georgia, which violated a previous agreement. But I have not confirmed this report. Similar to the pledge Publix had with Harris Teeter to stay out of NC. But that deal fell through and now Publix has moved into NC and Harris Teeter is returning to Upstate SC.

I still support Spinx whenever I can since they sponsor the local Spinx RunFest. If you like their support, make sure to do the same. Not sure QT supports that kind of healthy living. I gain 3 pounds just driving by the place.

Don't get me wrong, I make a QT run from time to time, but don't go out of my way for them over Spinx.

I am glad Spinx supports the local community. It will not change my practice of going elsewhere to buy fuel products at lower prices and without differing cash and credit pricing programs.

I have always liked that Spinx pumps take Cash. Very nice. Always frustrated me when I go in a GAS station and have to wait for people playing the lottery, buying cigs, etc to pay for my gas.

QuickTrip supports a lot of important national charities, such as Folds of Honor, which is important to me. If Spinx really supported healthy living they wouldn't sell doughnuts, hotdogs, etc...

QT does sell those things, but they also offer up smoothies...which some consider healthy!
