We are getting quotes for garage door replacement from Overhead Door and Sears. Any opinions? Kind of leaning toward Sears. Need the triple insulated doors. There will be some frame repair as well. Or can anybody recommend a place to get a third estimate?

Don't have any recommendations, but some of the Sears models let you raise, lower, or just check to see if your garage door is closed or not all via website or from app on your mobile phone.

Butler Garage Door is my favorite. He did a great job on a repair and on installing a new door when we needed it. I will send you a message with his phone number.

Don't rule out Home Depot and Lowes until you get quotes.

Call John Gheary at Innovative Door Systems. Great service and great prices. He replaced the doors at our house and I recommended him to my brother in law when he had some issues. 864-506-6735.

X2 for John Gheary & IDS! They put 3 new ones up for me a few weeks ago, and did my mother in laws as well. Everything was exactly as they promised! Overhead wanted almost twice as much to do the same job.

I have used ALL AMERICAN GARAGE DOORS - Garage Door repair replacement maintenance several times and was very happy.

He was very responsive, locally owned, very helpful, showed up when he said he would, and was reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, Home Depot recently changed their policy. Now you have to measure and buy your own door. Only once you've done that will they come out and give you an estimate to install it.
I hadn't heard of a couple of these others. I will be calling them on Monday. Thanks!!!
