I sure wish I'd seen your post before we had our fence done. I will be giving a final report after a couple issues are worked out. Pommom, I hope your fence turned out great! BTW, what height was your chain link? Ours was 6ft.

We used Two Guys And A Hammer. We had a privacy fence built. We were very pleased with the products and the service. We got three quotes and these guys beat them all by at least 1,000.

???? Your Aluminum Fence looks great, everything you asked for was done. What issues have changed your mind since right after we built your gorgeous fence ?

Better yet, provide some pictures of your awesome fence to show everyone.

I just want to say that I would not recommend Cole Fencing to anyone. I chose them based partially on the review posted by pommom earlier in this thread. They also quoted the best price of anyone I talked to but I guess you get what you pay for. I payed 1/2 of the quoted price ($4000) as a deposit on July 17th. I was told they would start work in the middle of August. I hadn't heard anything from them by Aug 18th so I called to check on the status. No one answered so I left a message asking to be called back. I left another message on the 19th. Someone finally answered when I called the 3rd time on the 20th and told me they would be out the first of the following week. That week has come and gone. It's now the 5th of September and absolutely nothing has been done. Not only have they missed two start dates but no one even bothered to let me know they weren't going to make it. I've been calling and leaving messages for 3 days now and still haven't been able to speak to anyone. I'm at the point where if I ever get through I'm going to demand my deposit back and hire someone else. I just hope I don't have to get a lawyer involved to get it.

I just paid cole fence for a 1/2 deposit for a fence job. I hope they finished your job please reply.

Well, I paid Cole Fence Co. my deposit in October and it's Dec. 28 and guess what...STILL no fence and it's gets even better! All of their numbers are disconnected!! I have already called my lawyer so I guess we will see how far this will go. FYI - check out the Spartanburg County website...these people owe the fed and state over $100,000so I guess that means no deposit back. :-(

A friend of mine used Allen's Fencing...and got a beautiful job on a stick built privacy fence. Great price too.

I can also personally recommend Rob Perry Fence contractors.

I meant to post this followup months ago but it slipped my mind until I got a message asking how things worked out.

I did finally get my fence installed by Cole Fencing, but it took several more calls and threatening a lawsuit. I will say that the guys that came out to do the work were very professional and did an excellent job so I guess it was just the people in the office that had horrible customer service. Unfortunately it sounds like the situation has gotten even worse.

I'm just seeing this post today, or I would have responded sooner. When my husband came home from a year on active duty shortly after our fence was installed, he had some questions/issues/concerns that he wanted to follow up; but after 5 calls and voicemails, to which we received no response; it's a little difficult to resolve something, wouldn't you think? I'll be more than happy to post some pictures of our fence where the areas of concern are in a few minutes, although I would have preferred to resolve this between the parties involved rather than in a public forum.
