How strict are you on the definition of "Chinese"? Most of these ethnic restaurants seem to be tending toward "Asian Fusion" cuisine nowadays.

I think maybe the OP means the buffet, stuff til you guts bust type restaurants.

If so, I don't have a favorite, I like them all, but we usually go to either the one in Simpsonville, or the one in Woodruff.

bring back Doc Chey's to Greenville - it would do great downtown/near downtown - I'm waiting for "Local Taco" to fail (off Augusta), so DC can take their place

Not sure if Doc Chey would land in that particular building. Sounds like the area between Conastee and Aberdeen may be undergoing change in the future depending on how much area this developer buys and razes.

Oriental House at WoodruffRd and Garlington. Great food. Although portions seem a little smaller then a year ago.

I like Dragon's Den in Greer. Reminds me a lot of Chinese places I grew up on in the Philippines. Family style food that's plentiful and tasty.

OMG, they have a spicy mustard they make in house that is incredible. It's like a little nuclear bomb going off in your sinuses.

There used to be one on Wade Hampton that was good..The name escapes me.. Ah.. Empress of China.

They've been gone a good number of years now, tho.
