Default Boiling Springs help please

Hey All,

I will be moving to the BS area in about a month and was looking for some help getting settled. Could someone with knowledge of the area fill me in with some information on the area. About me, i'm 33, single and transferring from Missouri...before that Oklahoma and Chicago after growing up in Iowa. I'm really looking forward to some better winters:-) I have spent a few weeks in the area for work and the BS location will be a good fit for me as far as location is concerned. Questions that i have...

1. Recommendations on restaurants, shopping, traffic.

2. Can someone recommend a good apartment or townhouse to rent?

3. What is the RE market like in this area currently?

4. Anyone recommend a good realtor?

5. Any good fitness centers in the BS area?

6. Any health food stores close by

7. Is this a good location for a single guy?

I'm not 100% locked into BS but location wise good fit for work. I'm open to any recommendations for better locations within 15 miles of BS for me. fyi Greenville is too far west for me.

thanks for any future advice.

Fatz cafe is really good (highway 9). I haven't tried the new bbq place across the street from it yet. Copper Creek or whatever its called is good too. I don't live in BS but I work there.

Great buys on real estate! The best realtor I found was EnternetHomes in Spartanburg. The real estate agent was nothing short of super. There are a few health food stores in Spartanburg. Whole Foods in Greenville. I found myself shopping more in Greenville than anywhere else. Greenville is just 30 minutes away. IMO a single guy would do much better in Greenville. A lot of seniors have settled in BS.

Default South Carolina

Our market is not down nearly as the media portrays. Just remember real estate is local. Our prices are good and there are numerous properties moving.
