Default Piedmont/Moonville area

Hi,

Anybody familiar with this area? Is it a safe area or an area where there is a lot of crime and gang activity, i was driving by a subdivision area down behind the Ingles there at Moonville and I saw gang signs, gang names, gang terms on a house in the subdivision that had 10 yr old houses or so in pretty good condition but that house was all written over, from top to bottom. A bit odd to see in the middle of a housing area. So I wanted to see if anybody knew how this area is. Thanks.

It is an up and down area, depending on where you are. I like the Moonville area because of its rural appeal and great potential, but there are a few neighborhoods to be concerned about. Have you looked into the entire area further east, west, and south? There is plenty of nice open living to be found around there, if that is what you are interested in. Concerning the future of Moonville, I have heard rumors about a new Ingles and possibly a new Wal-Mart Supercenter just off of I-185 and U.S. 25.

That area that you were in Im thinking pine needle drive right? It's not that great of a area. It use to be but it has went down hill pretty fast. I use to live on that street when we first moved here. We owned a house about 3 houses down from where the house is with the gang signs on it. We end up moving because it just kept going down hill. And so happy we did not stick around because of what it has become now.

If you see gang tagging I'd guess it to be not so safe. Look around Mauldin and Simpsonville.
