Fairview Market is a retail center located at the southeast corner of Fairview Road and Ray E. Talley Court in the City of Simpsonville in Greenville County, South Carolina. It is anchored by a supermarket, Publix #613, and a department store, Belk.

Publix #613, 655 Fairview Road Suite C, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29680-6777
Publix #613 opened in early 1998.

Publix is speculated to relocate to a new retail center planned at the southwest corner of Fairview Road and Harrison Bridge Road. ("New development along Harrison Bridge Rd in Simpsonville.") If Publix #613 is on a 20-year lease, it would be expiring in 2018.

Default Publix #613, Fairview Market, 655 Fairview Road Suite C, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29680-6777

Publix #613 will be replaced by a new store with a pharmacy drive thru at Grand Central at Martin Farms. The new Publix is projected to open in late 2017.

Publix #613 will likely close the day before the new store at Grand Central at Martin Farms open.

I wonder if another supermarket will replace the old Publix store or will it likely be repurposed for some other concept? There is already a Bi-Lo, Ingle's, and Walmart Supercenter nearby. But that Ingle's is long overdue for renovation.

Wow they completely redid the existing store, what about 2 years ago? Agree about the Ingles. I think they need something like Whole Paycheck or Fresh Market.

I heard speculation Ingle's #41, Fairview Station, 625 Fairview Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29680-6706, has a replacement store in the works. I wonder if that would be at the northwest corner of Harrison Bridge Road and Grandview Drive.

To me that location would be no better than where they are now. They need to move further out Fairview Rd or more towards Fountain Inn and get out of Walmart's shadow. Get closer to all those subdivisions and catch people before they head to WM. Kind of what Publix is doing by moving further down Fairview. Ingles seems like they favor more rural area stores.

Why bother exiting onto Fairview Road when I can exit onto Harrison Bridge Road and see a possible new Ingle's visible?

Ingles will want to make a move soon and plant their flag at that corner, or Lowes Foods could see the potential there.

Ingles has a number of locations in the area that are in need of renovation. They seem to have paused store updates in recent years, leaving us with a weird mix. We have some recently remodeled stores like the 2 in Easley, Cherrydale, Seneca, Clemson, etc. We also have outdated stores like the ones in Simpsonville, Mauldin, Powdersville, and Moonville. The Moonville store still has the original 70s "disco" decor.

With all of the competition in this market, they need to make investment or see their market share dwindle. Ingles is probably my favorite local supermarket chain and I'd like to see them stick around. To me they have they right mix of reasonable prices along with some more upscale merchandise. Publix is nice but super expensive unless you get stuff on sale. Whole Foods is just way too expensive for my budget. Most Bi-Lo stores look run down and the prices aren't competitive. Food Lion has very few stores in this market. Given their history in the Charlotte market, it is hard for me to imagine Lowe's Foods will be here long term. It will be interesting to see how Harris Teeter and/or Kroger go with their re-entry to the Upstate.

And before you get to WalMart, from that direction. Just about anything will do good there. It was rumored that Home Depot was going to build there, but that was before all the work to Harrison.
