Bi-Lo center in Greenville ?
I live in Kingsport, Tn and just saw where Def Leppard, REO Speedwagon, and Styx are gonna be at the Bi-Lo center on 4/1/08.
Is it very hard to find once you get off the interstate ?
Is the parking in a parking garage(s) ?
Also, by a longshot.........does anyone know aprox. driving time from/to Kingsport ? Mapquest said apx. 2 1/2 hours but my husband says more like 4 hours ?
Thank you so much for any info you can give me.

If u take I-385 into Greenville the BiLo Center is on the right side of the road as you come into downtown. I've never been but there are parking garages to park in.
I don't know about driving time but I'd strongly suggest you take route 25 out of Asheville into Greenville and not go I-26 to I-85. Course, that would mean that the I-385 direction I gave you doesn't apply but route 25 runs into route 276 and you can get on I-385 from 276 and then it would be on your right.
I heard the Moody Blues will be playing at the BiLo Center too.

it's 3 1/2 hours or so to Knoxville, if you take the new interstate from K port to asheville to 26 to 25 i'd say the time is about right. Try the new goggle map you can alter the route to the 25 an it will give you directions.

Its actually I-26 where its been designated an interstate otherwise its route 23. I drove that route last summer to/from WV. Nice road for the most part, runs through the centers of some towns. It is a little tricky getting through Asheville and I think the signage was a little strange. Give yourself extra time especially if you go through Asheville at rush hour.

I-385 north ends right next to the Bilo Center. You don't even have to get off. Here is an aerial to give you a better understanding of how the parking works. You can see the garage just beyond the arena on the left side: Greenville: Urban Photos: Black and White City Stock, Skyline, and Aerial Photography

Traveling from Kingsport, TN, your most direct route would bring you into downtown from the north via U.S. 276/Poinsett Highway. If you stay on this road entering downtown, its name changes to W. North Street (one way) before it crosses Main Street. You will notice a large parking garage on your right as you approach the Richardson Street intersection. That is a great garage to park in if you want to be centrally located and walk around - which I highly recommend.

The Richardson Street garage is FREE too unlike the Bilo Center one. At least on the weekends.

Hubby said he paid $5 to park in the garage at the BiLo Center. In Chicago you'd pay around $20 to park for a Bears game.
