Long John Silver's at 2113 Wade Hampton Boulevard, Greenville, South Carolina 29615-1065, was close to Taylors. It closed, and its building was razed.

It's right on the border of Greer/Taylors. That's the one I was talking about as well. If it's been razed, that must've happened fairly recently. There are reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor as recently as this Spring, anyway, and it's still listed on ljsilvers.com.

The Greer/Taylors one hasn't been razed. The one Knight is referring to at 2113 Wade Hampton I believe was in front of the Sav-Mor near Wade Hampton High School. That was closed and torn down years ago.

Isn't there a LJS in Greer on WH that's combined with A&W, same side as HD and in the center right next door to HD?? I'd say it's across from DQ and SBux.

I am very impressed by Central Market, the gourmet experience from the Texas-based H-E-B chain. I would love to have one in the Upstate, although I won't be holding my breath to see one anytime soon, as Central Market has yet to expand outside of the Lone Star State.

H-E-B is a supermarket similar to Publix. It gives Kroger, Albertson's, and Walmart challenges.

They are building a Captain D's in Easley, where the old Sunoco Gas station was on 123 (next to Wells Fargo)...at least that's what the sign said... unless something changed. They have graded the land and now the plumbing and foundation look like they are going in...
